This acclaimed group of singers and instrumentalists will present music from the Civil War and before, from heart-breaking ballads (many collected from the mountains of Pennsylvania) to stirring patriotic songs to music of the abolitionist movement. The Seminary Ridge Museum (on the seminary campus) is not only hosting this event on their portico, but will stay open until the concert begins – come early and explore this treasure!!
Conditions may change(and we’ll let you know), but the seminary chapel won’t be available for public use until September, so these concerts are dependent upon good weather. We will be able to use the bathrooms in Valentine Hall for the concerts on campus. And, of course, we’ll ask the audience to follow recommended guidelines by wearing face masks and keeping social distance.
